About the Diversity and Inclusion Committee (DInC), IIT Roorkee
“Diversity is the fact, and Inclusion is the behaviour”. The Diversity and Inclusion Committee (DInC) of IIT Roorkee was constituted on May 2022 pursuant to the Board of Governors resolution No. BG/06/2022 in its 64th meeting.
DInC is constituted to celebrate plurality in cultural values, attract diverse talents and enhance the Institute's engagement initiatives.
The aim of constituting this committee is for all individuals in the Institute to be truly representative of all sections of society and for each of them to feel respected and able to give their best.
The motto of of DInC is “Fostering Excellence through Diversity and Inclusion”
